Kollywood actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan will soon make her directorial debut through the flick 'Arokanam'. The flick is produced by AVA production and Monkey Creative lab. The shooting is nearing completion. "We started the movie only for film festivals. But later on it grew like a commercial movie. Now it can compete in film festivals and in the commercial race as well. Ours is a different yet a honest attempt. Tamil audiences never fail to recognize good movies for example Mounaguru. In the same way they will surely accept and celebrate Arokanam too", says a visibly excited Lakshmi. Lakshmi said she was inspired by Kamal Hassan. She had attended the screen writing workshop held by him. The music of the flick is scored by K. Viresh. The film has Sampath, Jayaprakash, Viji Chandrasekar, Uma Padmanaban,, Rajee and Vijayasarathy in pivotal roles.
