Forests of Dharmapuri, Salem and Erode turns out to be favourite shooting locations [Monday, March 9, 2009]
After the Veerappan era, the forests of Salem, Dharmapuri and Erode are safe and they are becoming the hot spots for film shooting in the course of the past few months. One can find dozens of artist wade their way through the thick forests along the banks of Cauvery and its tributaries. The hill stations like Ooty and Kodai, which used to be the favourite location of the film units have now lost their value as the film units choose these dense forests. The film units from Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kerala have started choosing these forest ranges as their favourite shooting spots.
