Golf tournament held
NM Ilangumaran (43 points) emerged triumphant in the Silver Division (Handicap 13 & above)    mega golf tournament conducted recently at the Madars Gymkhana Club Golf Annexe, Guindy.Golfers from different cities show cased their  talent and played for a noble cause at this event.  The event attracted star Golfers of India. During the prize distribution function, former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev gave away the trophy  to  NM Ilangumaran.NM Ilangumaran is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of Tamil Nadu Golf Federation(TNGF). He is also the District Chairman of Rotary District 3230. Apart from golfing he is engaged in a lot of social service activities. He is also actively involved in music programs for the old age homes and orphanages. D. Nagaraj (37 gross on countback) won the men’s Gold  division (Handicap 0-12) event of the second Rotary (T. Nagar)-Larsen & Toubro golf tournament at the Madras  Gymkhana Annexe here on Tuesday. Sanjay Radhakrishnan (37 points) came second. NM Ilangumaran (43 points) emerged triumphant in the Silver Division (Handicap 13 & above) while G.M. Parvath Rajkumar (41) came second. Soumya Satagopal (34 pts) won in the ladies section while R. Mangala Devi (26) was runner-up. Other results: Longest Drive Prize: K. Shivashankar (289 yards); Closest to Pin: Lankalingam (18 inches).

D. Nagaraj (37 gross on countback) won the men’s gold division (Handicap 0-12) event of the second Rotary (T. Nagar)-Larsen & Toubro golf tournament also held at the MGC. Sanjay Radhakrishnan (37 points) came second. Soumya Satagopal (34 pts) captured the title in the ladies section while R. Mangala Devi was the runner with 26 points. Shivshankar managed the longest drive (289 yards).

NM.Ilangumaran runs his own Chartered Accounts firm based at Crescent Park Street in T.Nagar. He is well experienced in Income and Expenditure Audit Revenue and Statutory Audit of Nationalized Banks. Income Tax matters in respect of Individuals, Firms & Companies. Internal and Statutory Audit of Companies.
Preparation of Project Reports and other Tax Counseling matters. NM. Ilangumaran was a Co-opted member of Library committee of South India Regional Council of Chartered Accountants of India , Chennai, the Past President of Rotary Club of Madras Midtown.
He was the Dist. Treasurer Rotary Dist 3230 and Dist Chairman for FMLR and is presently the Chairman for Rotary International Services. He has visited various countries including London, Brussels, Netherland, Germany, France, Dubai, Turkey, Switzerland, Srilanka, Thailand, Singapore , Malaysia, USA and Mauritius.
