With a month long fasting, prayers and dispensing of alms to the poor, the Muslims all over the world are celebrating Id today. In many countries Id was celebrated yesterday as the new moon was visible in those areas in the clear skies. But in many other countries including America and India, Id was celebrated today amidst the hues of Mehndi and the deleicious dishes which has its origins in Arabia. The religious leaders all over the country called for peace and harmony among the people of the world. The religion teaches that tolerance is the biggest virtue. The preachings of Prophet Nabi also says the same. With increasing reports of terrorism from all over the world, the musilm population were subjected to much humiliation. The religious leaders of the faith called upon their fellow men to shun the means of violence and to resort to non violent manners.
