The arrival and departure of eleven flights in the Chennai airport were cancelled due to the strike announced by a section of Air India Pilots. One flight on the arrival side in the domestic airlines and on the international sector arrival of four flights and departure of three flights were cancelled. The cancelled flights in the domestic sector included New Delhi - Chennai IC 439; Chennai - New Delhi IC 430; Chennai - Mumbai IC-971 and Chennai - Mumbai IC-571.On the international side Chennai - Sharjah IC-967; Chennai - Colombo IC-573 and Chennai - Muscat IC-925. On the international arrival side the flights cancelled included IC-974 Muscat-Chennai; AI-047 Singapore-Chennai; IC-956 Kuala Lumpur - Chennai and IC-574 Colombo-Chennai.
