Pakistan captain turned politician Wasim Akram's wife Huma Akram passed away in Chennai on Sunday. She was admitted to the Apollo Hospital due to Sepsis, a situation caused by inflammation of several tissues, including blood leading to kidney failure. She was admitted on tuesday and the doctors were trying there best to save her for the past five days. She was admitted in Apollo after she developed complications on their way to to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore from Pakistan.She was admitted in the ICU and died on Sunday morning without regaining consciousness. The family is making arrangements to carry her body back to Pakistan.
