The Madras University Vice Chancellor G Thiruvasagam said that the University will make arrangements for Srilankan Tamil students to pursue courses in Madras University for free. He also added that the next year would witness few additional reservations for students from the Srilankan Tamil category. He was sharing with the press the details of the decision taken with regard to this. He also added that the reservation would extent to students even for Ph.d and part time courses.
