The Chennai airport have come under heavy security guard after the airport authorities received a telephone call cautioning against a possible terror attack. The threat came on the first anniversary of the Mumbai attacks. The police however took quick steps to conduct superior checks and ensure better protection. The police has also traced that the threat call was made from a connection which had just three numbers. However the cordon has been stepped up to avoid any surprises.
