The UN Climate Summit at Copenhagen will be well represented by the Chennaiites with a group of academicians, scientists and research students getting ready to present their research works in the summit. The delegation met the Chennai mayor and submitted a so called 'list of expectations' in lieu to the World Mayor's conference in which the Chennai mayor would participate. The delegation focused on agriculture, health, transport and energy as the areas for priority action and offered their support and expertise in enhancng low carbon action production and spread of awareness related to environmental pollution and climate change.
