M Annadurai and Scientist Yash Pal were chosen for the H K Firodia awards 2010. The award is meant to appreciate and encourage the works of scientists and innovators committed to visionary science. Dr Yash Pal made vital contributions to space technolgy and astro physics. Dr Annadurai on the other hand has made vital contributions in the Chandrayan mission conducted this year.
