The Tamil Nadu state government on tuesday announced the setting up of five additional committees for the World Classical Tamil Conference that is to be held in Coimbatore. The Minister for Rural Industries and Animal Husbandry, Pongalur N Palaniswamy was appointed as the Chairman of the Accomodation Committee and District collector Dr P Umanath and corporation commissioner Anshul Mishra was nominated as coordinators. The Prinicipal Secretary of the Government, S Ramasundaram will be the coordinator of the conference venue. The state government has started with major preparations for various sessions of the conference as well. Many eminent scholars, including scholars from abroad will be attending the conference .
