City headquartered education and placement company Edserv Softsystems said on thursday that it planned to invest around Rs 20 crore as a part of its foray into the education sector. “While part of the expansion will be funded from internal accruals, the company plans to use the debt route to fund the remaining part of the investment”said the company release. The release also states that the company expects an annual revenue of around Rs 3o crores in the end of the first stage. The company will focus on 50 private schools in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh to set up labs supported by web enabled technology infrastructure. The company plans to invest around Rs 20 crores in infrastructure development and content acquirement.
