Chennai joined as one among the other few hospitals of the world that has an  Intelligent Operating Room (iOR) and BrainSUITE Intra CT facilities that are stated to vastly improve diagnostic and surgical outcomes for neurological, orthopaedic and trauma cases. The new diagonostic facilities were introduced at Parvathy hospital on monday. The new software driven treatment facility is the first ever in India, the third in Asia and the eighth in the world. Inaugurating the facility at the hospital on Monday, Tamil Nadu governor Surjit Singh Barnala said that the city was turning into a hub sought for specialized medical treatments and advices. “We see on one side the rise of corporate hospitals on a par with international standards. But on the other side we see rural poor in search of specialists for treatment,” added the governor.
