One of the high profile company in the field of Engineering and Construction, Larson and Turbo announced on thursday the setting up of the  largest Transmission Line Research and Tower testing centre in the country at Ethanor in Kancheepuram district. The center is aimed at testing the power transmission line towers across the city. The President of the organization, K V Rangaswami said that the centre that is built at a cost of Rs 25 crores and spread across 20 acres of property is the country's largest facility. He also added that the importance of transmission power testing arose considering the fact that the country has a high demand for power.
