Bosch to close down UK plant in 2011 [Friday, January 15, 2010]
Top manufacturing plant Bosch will close down a sick plant in UK by shifting its operations to Hungary. The announcement in this regard was made by the company authorities on friday. The plant in Miskin, which is situated in west london will be closed down by 2011. “The Bosch Group is currently facing the worst economic downturn for many decades and has been especially hit in the automotive sector,” said the company statement. With the closure of the plant, it is also expected that around 900 Bosch employees would be thrown out of employment.
