Leading business conglomerate, Videocon group on thursday announced there entry into the mobile services divison with an initial investment of Rs 14,000 crore. The Videocon currently specialises in household appliances like Oil and Gas, Retail direct to home services etc. The group has now ventured into the GSM telecom space offering a scheme of sub 1 paise effective tariff. The Videocon chairman Venugopal Dhoot announced that the mobile services division planned to cover 100 cities in 100 days.
