Bombs hurled at former Union Minister's residence [Saturday, November 28, 2009]
Petrol bombs were hurled at the house of Union MInister E V K S Elangovan, at his absence. Sources said that alien persons hurled the bomb at the ministers residence. The minister is a bitter critic of LTTE and its activities and speculations were on that the attack was in response to the ministers act of tearing down the posters of LTTE leader in Erode last friday. The house sustained few damages. The walls and furniture were also damaged. The attack is reported to have happened just few hours after the ministers response in Erode.
