The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on friday inaugurated the government's scheme to distribute free sarees and dhotis to the deprived.Speaking at the function, he said that there was no perfect rule and that there cannot be a government with no short comings. He also said that he is willing to rectify the defects if it was put before the government in a detailed manner. The chief minister said that people should not resort to complaining just for the sake of doing it. He said that a perfect democracy works only when there are true critics of the government and that the critics should as well support the government to correct its alleged mistakes. The chief minister launched on friday the scheme that will distribute free clothes to all people of the state who are below the poverty line. The scheme had a total budget of Rs 256 crores.
