The ruling DMK on wednesday announced that the UPA Members of Parliament would meet Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla with regard to the by election issue. The delegation of the MP's will be lead by DMK Parliamentary Party leader T R Baalu. Senior TNCC presidents K V Thangabalu and Tho, Thirumavalavan will accompany the delegation. The Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had on tuesday expressed his concern on the delaying of the by elections to Pennagaram Assembly. He said that the frequent delay of the by polls created doubts that the election commission is biased towards the opposition AIADMK.
