Sirudhavur land grabbing case report submitted [Sunday, February 28, 2010]
The report on Sirudhavur land grabbing case involving former tamil nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha and her friend sasikala was submitted to Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on sunday. The government had appointed a committee headed by High Court judge K P Sivasubramaniam to enquire into the issue. The government appointed the commission after receiving petition from then CPI (M) state secretary N Varadarajan. The DMK government constituted the commission after receiving complaints that the former Chief Minister and her friend had taken over 50 acres of land alloted to adi dravidar community.
