The State Commitee Office of CPI (M) was attacked on friday by the PMK cadres in retaliation to the attack on Makkal TV office affiliated to PMK. The attack on the office came after they organised an agitation against the telecast of a news relating to the death of CPI(M) leader W R Varadarajan. The police arrested 85 persons including state secretary members for attacking Makkal TV office. The arrested were remanded to judicial custody.
