PMK leader S Ramdoss blamed Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for putting the issue related to caste wise census on the back burner. The comments of the PMK leader came a day after the chief minister said that he was not supportive of the caste based census backed by the centre. Replying to this, Ramdoss said that the state was expected to abide by the supreme court decision related to the census. “How come the ruling party that boasts of being in the forefront in implementing its social justice agenda overlooks the importance of caste-wise census?” , the PMK leader was quoted as saying.
