No decision regarding the Prime Ministerial candidate has been made by the third front according to Jananta Dal (Secular) President, Deva Gowda. Mr Deva Gowda said that he was willing to adhere to any of the collective decisions taken by the front leaders on important issues. He also expressed hope that the friction which existed between few members and BSP leader Mayawati on the issue of nuclear deal would be amicably settled. He said that the alliance was not new as they already had an electoral understanding for 2006 elections. He said " The on-going formation of the alliance is the first phase of our front, while the second phase will take place after the elections with more members of secular parties joining us"
