Mr Pranab Mukerjee who visited Srilankan President Mahinda Rajapakshe, said on Tuesday that he has conveyed the paramount need to ensure safety of Civilians. Srilanka on the other hand claimed that there was no artillery shelling in safe Zones. ' We made it quite clear our concern about the civilian population, which is around 1.5 lakhs who are affected by this cross fire'.
