The Indian team including captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sehwag was not sure of the pitch quality and had labelled it as unpredictable as well. The turn of events in the last match proved to be sobad that it would put the reputation of the stadium as well in stake. “We wanted to finish off the series here as I am uncertain about the nature of the Kotla pitch. We were keen on winning here on a good wicket since we don’t know what kind of wicket we will get in Delhi,” Sehwag had said before the match at Ferozeshah Kotla.
