India move to Second in ODI Rankings

India’s fantastic run in recent ODIs which has seen them win 9 matches in a row has resulted them moving to second in the ICC ODI rankings, three points behind first-placed South Africa.

The top of the Rankings is so tight that another India win on Sunday could close the gap on South Africa to just two points, while New Zealand, in fourth, could close to within three points of South Africa with three more wins over Australia

Australia are now one point behind India, four off leaders South Africa and only four clear of New Zealand. But they can regain second spot if they win back-to-back matches against New Zealand on Sunday, in Sydney, and Adelaide, on Tuesday. If they win all three remaining games they can draw level with South Africa.
